Where Spring meets Summer has been my most favorite time of year for nearly as long as I can remember.  This time has always been the sweetest mix of both play and rest, when days are extra long and temperatures have not yet climbed to that unbearable state.  I often walk out to my deck midday and tilt my face towards the sun just to soak it in for a bit.  Goodness that light feels so good, at a soul level.  My hope is these paintings will be reminders of such times, whether the beginning of the journey of motherhood when you’re just “Dipping Your Toes In” to those wonderful waters.  Or of a time, when the bike had to stop pedaling, so that you could get a long, steady look at the sparkling sea.  Or perhaps even the metaphorical table set before you that is life, filled with goodness and grace, …even in the shadows.
