Lynnette Driver is an artist living in and being inspired by the beautiful mountains and waterfalls of Western North Carolina. She has recently rediscovered her passion for abstract painting, creating works that alternate between happy, whimsical, and bright with a lot of shape, delineation and movement to more muted, heavily layered and textured paintings.
Lynnette grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Elmhurst College, with an emphasis in painting. She discovered her love of creating art at a young age. Her aunt, who taught elementary art, helped foster this love. Lynnette had many opportunities to spend time at The Art Institute of Chicago, where she became interested in the Impressionists and Post Impressionists, as well as Expressionist Paul Klee, who all still influence her current landscapes, still lifes and abstracts today.
Lynnette is also accepting commissions. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
